Be Wowed By Williston

Retrace the famous footsteps of Lewis and Clark’s North American expedition from the Grasslands to the Badlands, sunsets to cultural centers - the locals of Williston are known to welcome guests with arms wide open.

North Dakota's sixth largest city, Williston sits atop the storied Bakken, a vast subterranean treasure trove of petroleum, coal and potash. And while the oil industry boom reshaped the city's historically agricultural economy, Williston retains its small town vibe, thanks to beloved attractions like the Old Armory, the James Memorial Art Center and nearby Lake Sakakawea, a man-made marvel that draws boaters, fishermen and sailors.

  • “Quiet and great beds”

Pulled in to this hotel about 8:30pm and was looking forward to a nice bed and I know from traveling how beds are a hit and miss at hotels. got to the room and it was so quiet you couldn't even tell that the A/c was on and the bed was fantastically comfortable. Very nice staff

  • "Amtrak trip stay"

Loved the stay. The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. The front desk personnel were always helpful.

  • “Always Improving”

I have stayed at the Ramada Williston on several occasions, and each time the experience improves. The staff seems more permanent, and they truly want your stay to be great. They always seem to go the extra mile. Having a great food option and a on-property bar sets the Ramada apart. I highly recommend it for a good mid-range value hotel.

Accommodations were clean and plentiful - game room, exercise room, food buffet, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful - tips on places to eat and reading suggestions.
